Aircraft Structures Engineer - Research, map, and describe structural discrepancies on transport
aircraft. Must be familiar with the use of
SRM's, Service Bulletins, and AD's. Experience in repair design on Boeing 737 and/or MD80 aircraft, both within and beyond the limits of the SRM. Engineer will design & document repairs; obtain approval for repairs from customers, DERs, and OEMs; and will communicate with the shop to obtain implementaion of repairs on the aircraft.
Education/
Experience:
Must have BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or
related field and at least 2 years working with
Boeing aircraft. Experience working with the FAA
is desired.
