Brief Description of Job: Directs and
coordinates activities of production department
(s) in processing materials or manufacturing
products in industrial organization by
performing the following duties personally or
through assigned team members.
•Coordinates production, distribution,
warehousing in accordance with policies,
principles and procedures established by General
Manager in order to achieve divisional and
customer objectives.
•Develops plans for efficient use of materials,
machines and employees.
•Reviews production costs and product quality,
and modifies production and inventory control
programs to maintain and enhance profitable
operation of division.
•Reviews production orders or schedules to
ascertain product data such as types,
quantities, and specifications of products and
scheduled delivery dates in order to plan
department operations.
•Directs the planning department in planning
operations, establishing priorities and

Experience:
•Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of
Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or
university; or eight years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
