Brief Description of Job:The Business Analyst
has responsibility for the financial, strategic,
and compliance function of their department.
•Analyze new business opportunities as to
budgetary projections, return on investment, and
integration into the existing infrastructure.
•Primary responsibility for the overall
financial budgeting, planning, reviewing, and
transactions of the assigned business unit.
•Monitoring of all financial reporting
requirements to ensure that the required
deadlines are met.
•Performs analytical reviews of monthly
financial statements to ensure they are
conforming to the profit objectives of
management. Make recommendations to management
as to areas of improvement on the operating
system and cost containing opportunities.
•Review of internal controls involving the
business unit's operation.
Education/
Experience:
•Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of
Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or
university; or eight years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
