Position will control the General Ledger and
responsible for the account
analysis/reconciliations, invoice review and
coding, government contract administration and
pricing, projects and budget analysis for
Defense. The Senior Accountant will have
knowledge of accounting area and will be able to
effectively communicate with all levels of
management.
Education/
Experience:
Required: Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or
Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four-
year college or university in
Accounting/Finance; or eight to ten years
related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and
experience. Government Contract Accounting
experience and familiarity with government Cost
Accounting Standards a strong plus.
General
Comments:
Account coding, review, analysis of expenses and
income for Government Contracts.
- Prepare, verify and control General Ledger
accounts and the Monthly Close complying with
GAAP, CAS and AAR policies.
- Prepare Management Reports, statements and
FRPs.
- Responsible for Account Analysis and
Reconciliations.
- Miscellaneous projects as assigned.
