| Overview: |
Has overall responsibility for the daily
operation of the military (DS&L) Supply Chain
Management (SCM) program directly supporting the
military work. Works with Directors, other
Program Managers and division business
development and contracts specialists to develop
program technical solutions, implementation
plans, business case analyses and staffing plans
for the program
|
Education/
Experience: |
• Master’s Degree or 15 years of related
management experience.
• Minimum of 10 years demonstrated success
in a military service or commercial business
supporting military logistics, operations,
maintenance, and contracting or program
management.
|
General
Comments: |
• Leads all program employees to support
the direct performance mission and to ensure
that corporate and business unit goals are met.
• Provides program-specific inputs for the
development, implementation and execution of the
overall DS&L business plan.
• Coordinates program activity with the
Vice-President of Operations and Regional
Program Director to ensure that common resources
and skills are leveraged across all programs.
• Embodies AAR’s mission, vision and
values, and promotes them to employees,
customers and stockholders.
• Manages program resources effectively
and efficiently.
• Hires, trains, mentors and supports
employees to ensure they have the skills to
perform the mission; the resources necessary to
achieve company goals; the motivation to get the
job done; and the corporate support necessary to
grow personally and professionally.
• Works with the leadership of other
corporate divisions, business units and programs
to support custom
