Major Functions:
•Maintains, repairs, and installs various types
of electronic equipment and related devices such
as electronic transmitting and receiving
equipment; personal and mainframe computers and
terminals; measuring and controlling equipment;
satellite equipment; and associated electrical
and electronic devices in a field environment.
•Applies technical knowledge of electronics
principles in determining equipment malfunctions
and applies skill in restoring equipment
operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•System Administration of Windows and UNIX
servers and workstations
•Communications support HF, UHF, VHF and MIDS
Radios.
•Data Link support on the Joint Range Extension
(JRE) gateway and Air Defense Systems Integrator
(ADSI) for the Interface Control Technician
(ICT).
•Provides critical analysis for USAF Operators
on the Tactical Display Framework (TDF) in
manipulation of Air Tasking Orders (ATO) and
Airspace Control Orders (ACO)
•
Education/
Experience:
Education and Experience Requirements:
•High school diploma, technical/trade school
preferred
•Technical expertise required - Battlespace
Command and Control Program (BC3), scheduling,
installation support and sustainment
•Minimum 5 – 7 years experience.
•Must possess excellent communications and
organizational skills
•Must be able to travel 50% of the time
