Job Title: Adminstrator, Defense Inventory Systems-Pending Contract
Location: Macon, GA
Overview: • Processes receipts, shipments and proofs of shipment. • Processes condition code changes, inventories, and other related material transactions. • Retains supporting documentation for all inventory records. Ensures all data is accurate, current and real-time. • Processes Material Movement Reports, inventory part labels and applicable transaction reports for each line item. • Provides monthly program status reports to the Program Manager. • Ensures security of systems and control of government information therein. • Works with the Program Manager and other program employees to support customers and programs whenever and wherever needed. • Performs internal control reviews, audits, self-inspections and Government property management reviews. • All other duties as assigned.
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
General
Comments:
• 5 years of USAF logistics experience. • 5 years of hands on experience utilizing the USAF Standard Base Supply System (SBSS). • 5 years of experience utilizing the Defense Automated Addressing System Center (DAASC) communications network. • In-depth knowledge utilizing the Department of Defense Military Standard Requisitions Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) protocols. • Working knowledge of Government On-Line Data (GOLD) software system preferred. • Expert skills in utilizing Microsoft software, i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access. • Skill set in compiling information and developing report from multiple databases required. • Leadership and team building skill sets. • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required • Travel required. Estimated one trip per month
